server not showin up on server list

hey. i followed the PDF and set up my server when i click the bat file i get eh 2 windows one closes extremely fast and is hard to read but think it says cant connect or something along that line. i hit the enter key and get the blank window and logged into server select and it wasn't there anyways figure i must have missed something (read it all and did what the PDF guide said) was wondering if anyone has any idea what it could b

This could be a number of things..... to narrow it down, the trick I'd use is to open the command prompt from the start menu and then navigate to your server directory, then type world.exe - the output will tell you why your server isn't booting up. Once you have your answer - search the forum. There isn't any server setup question that isn't answered in this forum somewhere. Good luck.
