Default Cannot Compile Zone to Release Build

Greetings,

Ok first off, I know I probably fubar'd this, so I'll try to be specific.

1. I downloaded the source
2. Followed all instructions to get the source into Vsc++2005
3. Go into build --> configuration manager and choose RELEASE
4. All three projects update to release
5. Build solution, a few warnings but it works, eqmem stuff, zone.exe and world.exe get built and it all works
6. Open the source code, make many changes to client_mods.cpp, client.h, client_process.cpp, a few others
7. Open Vsc++2005 back up, Go to build --> configuration manager release is still checked, but now Zone is only available in Release_perl ?

Removing zone and readding doesnt fix, only way around it to extract the source again from zip, effectively killing my file changes..

Anyone know why this is happening?

Thank you
laxa

update,

Maybe I missed something... even though it configuration manager is showing Release perl for Zone, it's still making zone.exe.....

not sure exactly what's happening, but I am getting zone builds.
