Exclamation (0xc0000005) error!

i just installed EQ Sof again, i went to log in and i played for about a min until i crashed, istarted up the program again and got this error. i have reinstalled it completely and nothing happened. help please?


The exception unknown software exception, (0xc0000005) occured in the application at location 0x034d5da6

Click OK to terminate program.

It is probably a multi-core CPU issue. You might want to check the FAQ in my sig for suggestions.

Trevius i hate to say it but no help in the FAQ, thanks tho. if anyone has any ideas feel free to say them so far i looked through FAQ and reinstalled the whole game

Post the dbg.txt in the logs folder. It should give more information than you normally have.

try running with admin rights. think i get that error when i dont run in admin

It can't set the resolution in the eqclient.ini (why isn't this in the faq it comes up all the time? =p )

acuallly now that i think about it, that maybe the issue because i started off right there at the login screen going to options then doing resolution that way, am i able to do it ingame tho?

ive had it before as well, you need to delete the config files in your eq folder. I believe its defaults.ini and eqclient.ini, Delete those will basically act like you did a fresh install and youll have to setup your settings again but do it ingame and not at the login screen.
