little help here

I followed the setup wiki to try and get back into the EQ emu community, however when i tried to run it using everything the wiki told me, it partially patched anyway it seems, and it DLed some small window login program called launchpad and it has the newest EQ expansion logo on it called underfoot, a little help would be appreciated, and if not, just point me in the right direction
