Default Multiple EQ Clients

I'm trying to run 3 EQ clients on my computer (for multiboxing), but whenever I start up another one the current client freezes. Do I need to make copies of the EQ directory to run it from different places?

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, but am doing compatibility mode to XP SP2 for all of the .exes in the EQ folder.

It's not the server that's the issue, it's the client freezing (pre login when I startup the 2nd client).

For starters using a compatibility mode may be causing your problems. Everquest will run perfectly on Windows 7 without compatibility modes. If it doesn't then you probably did something wrong during setup.

Start off by going through this faq: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=EQEmuFAQ

If that doesn't work try searching the forum as I would be willing to bet you are not the first person to have that issue.
