Default Drakkin Problem

Well... I purchased and downloaded EQ: SOD when everyone was all abuzz about steam having SoD for sale (sometime in June? I think). I got the client set up to run on EQEmu and then went back to using Titanium.

I didn't feel like resetting all my characters UIs and keybindings and what-not (and given the overall lack of support for SoD at the time) I let my SoD client collect dust. Well, I'm dusting it off now and having this strange problem with Drakkin Male character models (every other character model works fine, including Drakkin Females): (yes, he's floating and slides around)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Titanium works flawlessly, SoD works just fine, with exception to this. I just updated my ATI 4890's drivers (from May '10) and am up to date on DX10. Any suggestions? Might I have to roll back to an older version of Video Card drivers? Anyone NOT having problems mind telling me what version drivers they're using (right click on the little ATI icon and click About... 2010.0803.etcetcetc).

Suggestions would be welcome. If all else fails, does anyone know if I can overwrite the Drakkin male model somehow with the female one?

You need the dkm_anims.eqg file. My SoD has it, so I'm not sure why it would be missing for you.

Are you sure you don't have Underfoot? If so, you need more than that one file. Here's a good place for info: http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=31635

Most likely it is missing for him because he has UF not SoD. That is a common issue in the Underfoot client and is resolved easily by copying files over from another install. More details on that in the link here:

Even if you did get the actual SoD client originally, you probably didn't take the advise to move it out of the Steam folder it installs to. Then, when UF replaced it, Steam updated your install to UF.

It's a fresh download (paid and all) of Underfoot from Steam. Moved it to C: Everquest to avoid headaches finding the links.

So thakns I'll go check the wiki

EDIT : looks like the problem comes from dkn_anims.eqg, I'll try that. for the rest as long as it works I won't touch it :p I tried to copy a dbstr_us.txt from live and I got unknown strings everywhere

The dbstr_us.txt file from the download is completely broken. You will want to replace it. I use one from live and it's fine. *shrug*

Well for me, the live is broken, and the one from steam show everything but some spells 80+ and the expendable AAs, the rest is fine, except Harm touch and lay of hand that don't work
