Don't install under Program Files or Program Files (x86), try C:\EQ.

If you are able to get it installed on another computer at your house, you can just copy them over from that computer. You don't need to actually install EQ, you can just copy the whole folder over and make the shortcut and it will work fine.

For Titanium you need to install it on a 32bit OS I found. Also, if that is Win7 or Vista do you have UAC on? Try opening the disc and right click >Run as administrator on the setup.exe

User account control is off and ive tried running as admin multiple times. I think i might try what trevius told me and copy the folder over to a flash drive.

Haha yeah i agree, that laptop is at least 5 years old. But my system now is plenty fast and could blow just about any game out of the water. So yes your right the laptop does need an upgrade. Never the less i installed the whole 3gb game to the flash drive. But when the flash drive was inserted into the desktop, the folder was now turned into a file. Thus rendering the whole game folder unopenable. If eq would just install to my desktop, then i would never be having these stupid problems!

LOL, I think some flash drives have troubles with things that exceed 4GBs, though I don't know the specifics of it. I just know I have heard of people having similar issues with flash drives before, but I think that was related to having a single file that was that large, not a folder with multiple files.

My suggestion was more to map a drive on your network from one PC to another and copy it over through your network. It should work fine that way.

If the flash drive is formatted as FAT32 you can't have a file larger than 2GB on it. You can reformat it as NTFS, or you can split the file into pieces smaller than 2GB with whatever archiving program you are using. I recommend WinRAR which makes this very easy.
