Default Im a Nub and need Help plz
so my english isnt very well and i found this hp yesterday but for what is this Emu? is it sth to play EQ for free? iy yes, how does it works? and what have i to dl for make everything working???

Download these items.

EQemu 2.3 http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/e...QEMu-0.2.3.zip

Mysql 3.23 http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-max-3.23.html

EQadmin http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/e...n-tool-2.3.zip

EQHost http://www.eqemu.net/eqhost.txt

EQW 2.2 http://eqw.eqhackers.com/eqw.zip


You need the EQemu 2.3 unzip it into a new folder something like c:eqemu. Install mysql. You can find good intructions in the eqemu zip and in the win32 support forum. Good Luck.

The EQ host is for gotfrags to connect to them. The EQadmin is for changing your database setup. EQW is for opening EQ in a window instead of in fullscreen.

so its nothing to play for free? to bad i havnt 10 dolalr / month for playing a game in the net...

Well, we dont charge you so i guess its free. its not an exact copy of real EQ though..
