Default Character starting points

I was wondering if there is a way to make it so all new characters start in a different zone than the default eqlive zone? I think it is in the source somewhere, because its surely not in the database. If anyone could answer me that would be cool.

I think that is still in database.cpp, check this post for details:

I think in 5.0 there will be a table to change starting location for new characters.

Well when I put in the x/y/z to start at, it always starts me under the world, even if it is a valid location (0,0,0) and then it warps me to a random spot in the zone.

0,0,0 is the default loc and it's not valid in most zones, you need to account for head height, I'll set the defaults to safe cords
