Default Newb to Eqemu

Hi,
Well, finally got sick of eq's bs a while back after 4yrs playing heh, Saw this and decided to check it out. I really only have one question so far. I see at the top of the main page that there are 17servers up and running, however when I get to the point of choosing a server I only see 4 or 5 to choose from. Of those 4-5 servers several are locked or down which leaves m1-2 servers available to join.
I searched for an answer for this but could not find anything.

There are two login servers, one for the version 4.4 server, which requires your EQ client to be patched to December 2002, and one for 5.0DRn which is compatible with a more recent client (which was broken with the last patch). The 17 servers is probably the total of 4.4 and 5.0 servers. You will only see the number of servers available for the version of the login server you are connecting to.

Correct, if you do not have the files, then don't plan on playing unless you can find the files somewhere other then this forum.
