Monk weapons really didn't come around until Kunark. The only thing worth getting were whitened treant fists which dropped in the Plane of Air.

EDIT: Huh, I just looked them up.... they're hand to hand weapons now. Pre-Kunark they were 1HB as there were no H2H weapons at the time.
