It's a feature for our
server that Yeor is personally engineering. It typically will be a patcher that runs a sort-of background service that is required in order to play at all. This background service acts as a punk buster (
comparable to Warcraft's 'Warden') and detects/disables MacroQuest2 usage. Yeor has many plans and is the key designer for this feature so he'd be able to tell you a lot more about this than I could; and in better detail....

Is that something you're planning to contribute here at some point? I'm kind of excited about the possibility, quite honestly. That was the #1 nuisance for me running a server, was policing the use of MQ2 amongst the players. The rules we have in place so far are a huge help, and we have TheLieka and the TZ/VZ team to thank for them, but as CD and Trevius have noted, there's still lots more detection that is needed.
