It's a feature for our server that Yeor is personally engineering. It typically will be a patcher that runs a sort-of background service that is required in order to play at all. This background service acts as a punk buster (comparable to Warcraft's 'Warden') and detects/disables MacroQuest2 usage. Yeor has many plans and is the key designer for this feature so he'd be able to tell you a lot more about this than I could; and in better detail....

Is that something you're planning to contribute here at some point? I'm kind of excited about the possibility, quite honestly. The rules we have in place so far are a huge help, and we have TheLieka and the TZ/VZ team to thank for them, but as CD and Trevius have noted, there's still lots more detection that is needed.
