Most of us actually don't give a shit which processor is superior...like it really matters. Thats an argument that is as old as processors themselves and is futile....so....WHO CARES as long as it runs the emu Right?

Ummmm....If you really must know, It was Lyenu. He....I mean she said it

LoL, you are way off base....it's not a flame at all. I just don't want to start a "my processor is better then yours" war. Those kind of things drive me crazy. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I just with they would keep it to themselves....thats all.

Ok Here is my setup

My server is on a Toshiba 8100 laptop P3 500Mhz, 256 ram, 2 x 12Gb Drives and 100Mhz lan card

I have 3 potential client machines but the main one I use is
Home built P3 600, 512 mem,
10 x 18GB Scsi disks,
Matrox G400 Dual Head video and
100Mhz lan card

They are all connected via Cisco 2940 Switch to a Netgear Cable router and then on to the 1Mb/s Cable connection (Just got that last bit this week ... VNice)

From the net I get next to no lag ...except if i play EQlive cos the UK server is laggy.

Fo some reason the internal lan is a bit more laggy ...... strange that ... must look at it

In case you are wondering about all this, my mates and I spend alot of time developing hardware and programs to run them. We recently made a cool case mod that uses tri-colour LED's to cycle through RGB colours.
Making a plugin for winamp to have it drive the LED's :P
Writing hundreds of lines of code in assembly for a PIC sucks.
