#1 they release a shitty version of DR-4 where nothing works...

DR means developer's release.. not even beta. The reason it was released quickly was because people were begging for the emu to work with the current patch.

Yet, all their servers seem to work just fine?

You obviously haven't played on the S2K server or talked to the people who play there. I use our server for testing new code before it goes into cvs. If the code works, then from the time I put it in until the time it is merged with cvs and cvs is released there will be a difference...

And if it doesn't work, its our server crashing - not yours.

They do a half ass job on the Public Release then work on their own.

DR means developer's release, not public release.

I have been working on fixing this Huge problem you neglected to fix with DR4, but there are too many problems for me to fix.

but you expect a miracle from others...

I dont care how long it takes to make, take the extra time and do it right, you spend all your time on support, screw helping people, make it right then you wont have to.

and others say give it to us now and we will help you get it right.

Just make it right, fix your problems,

now its my problem/our problem. I thought this started out that YOUR server didn't work right

if i knew as much Programing as you, i would do it right,

if you knew anything about programming....

even if it took me a year to do it, at least i wouldnt have to waste my time on fixing the mistakes, its harder to go back and fix what u didnt do, rather than doing it all at once.

... you would know that 90% of the programmer's time is spent on maintenance
