Dev's are lame.

#1 they release a shitty version of DR-4 where nothing works...

Yet, all their servers seem to work just fine?

Well its shitty cause its a DR ( i think this has been covered enought) and because there smart enough to have a seperate EQ directory for the EMU so when SOE patched and breaks the EMU they can still play

They do a half ass job on the Public Release then work on their own.

As scorp say'd in an ealier post its called testing.

I dont care how long it takes to make, take the extra time and do it right, you spend all your time on support, screw helping people, make it right then you wont have to.

So that would be screw what everyone else want do what you want? cause 99% of the EMU community wants it NOW with bugs.

Seriously, Just make it right, fix your problems, if i knew as much Programing as you, i would do it right, even if it took me a year to do it, at least i wouldnt have to waste my time on fixing the mistakes, its harder to go back and fix what u didnt do, rather than doing it all at once.

So your gonna comment on how to do something that you have no clue how to do or how long it takes to do...hhmm and you expect them to do, in there free time, what has taken SOE what 7-8 years to acomplish?

If thats what it takes to get the hundreds of posts flaming them for not having it out NOW to stop then yes. People dont want to wait to play and they dont have back up directories so they flame the bord, got to shut them up somehow.

when no one has anything to fall back on like DR4, you have to patch, then when all DR4 server SUCK cuz of some things you decided not to fix...

OH so you didnt create a backup copy ether huh? yea they suck but guess what.THATS WHAT THE COMMUNITY WANTS they want to be able to log on create a char and stand there. they would rather have that then waiting a few weeks for the bugs to be fixed.

All i see in your post is me me me me me, what about everyone else here? thats right more people put up a stink about not even being able to log on then about the bugs that are know so guess what........the Devs do what the COMMUNITY wants not what you want.


The Devs may be elitists, and darn right arses most of the time, but they run this this is there domain, they make the rules this is there little corner of the web where they ARE the gods. If you want to be part of the community you need to accept that. Just like on my web space I say what happens and if you dont like it fine dont come.

I wish the Devs would be nicer / more professional but the one thing anyone with a brain cant denie is there hard work and there own $ to run this project, so they do what they want and we nod and say ok or we go away.
